Anyway, these are just extra pages made to be crazy. They're just slightly connected to the story. I've drawn the first extra because the chapter was too short for a chapter, but my readers like them, so it's a tradition now!

I keep getting black and white pages every time I come onto this thread and so far I have no complaints because of stuff like this! I love the simplicity of this page. When I was scrolling down, I thought I was looking at a page of nothing but speech bubbles until I reached the bottom and found some nice detailed line work! I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I love people who can pull off pure black and white with no grey tones. Having under the bridge in complete black gives you a great idea of just how bright it is out there in this big empty area.

I like how vibrant your colors are even while being also very soft. It's also very interesting choice to make all the characters wear a masks that hide their faces. You've done awesome job at expressing their emotions even without showing their expressions. And that dog is super cute.

I really like the ambience to this page. I don't know what led up to it (I intend to find out when I get a moment!) but I can just feel a dissolving tension when I read through it. The muted tones give it a sort of melancholy feel. The backgrounds are simple but I love the texture they're given, I feel like I can still kind of tell where they are.

Thought I'd chime in and give my .02c on the above comic before pimping ours!

-First, Jrej. I clicked through on the link and really enjoyed what I saw. The transition from Chapter 6-1 through 6-3 was really cool with the main character hallucinating then finding himself looking to drink again. Your art has a touch of Scott Kolins to it which I enjoy. I've subscribed and look forward to starting from the beginning and seeing where your story leads.

-second, we're now a month into our various stories (updated weekly) under the Unearthly Comics umbrella and would appreciate any feedback or even better subscribers!

WAR ACRE is the story of lone warrior forced to face off against beings from beyond the stars. Unsure of why he's left to wander the wastelands alone he battles on searching for answers.

Alright, there are some very contrasting comics here.
War Acre and Atomic tales share a relatively similar style.
i can't quite put my finger on War Acres style, although i think you're doing a great job.
i looked through the pages that are submitted, and the story looks rather intriguing c:

what i can see from Atomic tales it shares a somewhat similar style to the old superman comics, which i like.
i will not criticize the story, since i'm not much for sci-fi (which is why i liked War Acre more c:).
this is of course not anything against your comic specifically.it is just my taste in genre.

Then we come to the most contrasting comic of the three. i do very much enjoy the humor in it c: a bit of
harmless violent humor and a fitting style is a good combo c: .

i'm not good at writing comments about others comics, but i hope it's not too much of a letdown c:

@Alexandritea I am LOVING the use of limited palette in this! It really creates a stark contrast between the different elements. I'm also a fan of the partially transparent text bubbles - I often have the issue of doing all the work and covering it up with text bubbles, so I'm glad you found a way to show that! Now I really want to find out what happened before this, what led up to this moment, because it feels like a high tension conflict. >:D

The dialogue in that one page moves quite smoothly. I like the way everyone looks. Each character is just so distinct from one another! Each panel just oozes with personality. Not to mention how darn great the art is! You got me invested in their situation with a single page

Thanks for the feedback on ny series! It's very nice of you. I love the chapter 6 opening scene too. My challenge was drawing the lion but with reference I finally managed. I'm nowhere near Scott Kolins but thanks for comparing.
