I LOVE cream cheese! REALLY good on a bagel! Also smerican cheese on a nice burger.

I say cilantro tastes/smells like cockroaches :joy: I don't even know why, that's just how I feel
Hated cilantro until recently just to find out it goes fantastic in some dishes, like poke. Great combo with gomadare and rice.

Serious question, do coackroaches ACTUALLY have a smell to them? I mean alive ones, of course.

No idea! I lived in China for a few years, but it was too far north for cockroaches cuisine, and I am not sure I ever smelled the living ones.
Although there was an episode in my life when I was in a hospital for long (I was 7 y.o.), me and other kids made traps for cockroaches with some leftover medicine and orange peels or something. After some time we found white discolored cockroaches in those little medicine bottle traps (apparently, that's not something special, but at the time it was). I think cilantro triggers something in my brain from this time

Wow, to cruel to tea lovers AND cockroaches I see...

Man, people in my family loves leek, cilantro and all of it's family. I can't stand the raw tase it gave me when I bite into it. It just tase absolutely weird.

Im the cockroach killer in my family (i haven't killed any for years now. Mostly i just shoo them away with broom to the outside) and sometimes when you kill them with sandals, their guts spilled and some smell, well, like a f*cking decomposed corpse. Never smelled anything when they're intact.

If anyone's curious, there are actual tests for this. They're little strips of paper that look like litmus paper, but they're embedded with a test substance. You put it in your mouth for 5 seconds, and your reaction to the test substance gives you an idea of where you are on the tasting spectrum. Highly entertaining. We discovered that, of my household at the time, two people were supertasters, two people were normal tasters, and one person was a subtaster.

I had brussel sprouts yesterday, I love them, broccoli is great too, I could eat both every day.
My nieces hate them but they are young and then you have more taste buds on your tongue
and sprouts taste bitter then

Never heard of it, though I'm typiccly not a fan of coconut candy.

it almost looks like off brand mounds/almondjoy but i actually really like those :joy: i've noticed for me at least that the almond in an almondjoy kinda balances out the flavor meanwhile bars like this suffer due to pure volume of shredded coconut which honestly unless toasted doesn't do well in such high concentrations

there's actually this brand my job sells that's a little better than the usual mars brand bars

i've yet to like try all the flavors but i think it's that some brands kind of neglect considering the quality of the coconut and balancing out the flavor between the chocolate and the coconut and whatever else is mixed in

also sorry for the long winded reply i guess this is a consequence of both working with candy and being a candy enjoyer

 that´s what I guessed, you probably know Mounds, it´s the same

I love fresh coconut water and it's meat but I dislike the processed dried flesh. It taste weird and bottled coconut water always have the weird, somewhat sour taste. Never had them again, but o wonder why there's a lot of people who disliked the fresh coconut water.
