that's completely true, you're right. I wasn't really talking about my manga for this, but to all the others story driven mangas that could bring in more money (again, it doesn't have to be my manga!!), but they can't because they simply have no exposure in the site, which prefers (and it's totally clear, come on!!) webtoons, and because they can't reach 500 subscribers. and you can't be in the supporting program if you don't have AT LEAST 500 subscribers...
I don't want to decline my responsabilities, I know everything is difficult "out there" and I don't want to be polemic at all, really. I'm just wondering if this is the place for story driven comics that ARE NOT FAMOUS YET.
I mean, stray dog as been a huge thing on inkblazers, started to be the same huge thing here only when inkblazers announced its shutdown and people came here from there. I think it's because reading story mangas THERE was better than HERE!! don't you agree on this?
I had to use a double splash spread layout because otherwise the real double splash would appear as simple long panels, ruining the pace of reading.
plus, if you scroll you can always see the twists in the plot little by little, there isn't really a "surprise" when you read story written comics, which is a great laydown for story comics. And have you tryied to look at my manga from a device? it's not really the best layout... the site works wonderfully for webtoons, maybe it's just not fit for story driven mangas?
I know... I've tried to fit my manga into tapastic 10 months ago, but I just seen a different response from inkblazers, back then. I've been on inkblazers for almost 10 months, being featured after 2 (while here I was struggling to have more than 30 subscribers), and earn money there until now. I just want you to know that I just can't seem to be able to connnect to my possible readers here on tapastic with the same ease.
I'll try to get more recognition in every way I can, and thanks for the tips!
sorry, maybe I'm just another frustrated author, it could really be, haha. but if there's a thing that the site can do better, for the best of everyone, why don't spit it out like you did with this thread?
