Who else is breaking the fourth wall?
I do love characters breaking the fourth wall, though i still didn't write story with this XD
Hmm. I can't be the only one in here???
is the 4th wall when the characters talk to the audience, or is it when they are aware that they are in a comic?I have one with two persons talking about the comic characters not being the real people while these two are being drawn by the comic character (reverse 4th wall, I guess)Also I'm currently working on another one where the pets are angry at the humans for not being even mentioned in the comic title, or in any panel, not even as a background.not sure if that counts.
Yes, the self awareness of a character into the real world. Is the fourth wall.Send link please
Here I have one where all ways the wall can break, will breaks.
lol, that's a literal wall break, i'd be fun to have that laying there for a bit, while the partner keep asking "when are you gonna fix this?" xD
I do on occasion. I guess it's more, "self-referential" than a pure 4th wall break, but I do some things that speak directly to the reader.
oh god, me. I broke it completely. to be fair, fourth wall never really existed in this story, but I needed to make the reader aware of that too xD
I think all of those things count as a 4th wall break.
He took mathers in own hands here;
Nice way to tell the reader about it.An cool ways to use gifs too
oh nice, a cross over =)
Mjaa... not that much 4wall. But great humor.
Breaking all the way
Today I didn't just break the fourth wall, I broke down the walls between space and time, and promoted my readers to god hood, and it just took nine frames to do it.
Oh yes you did it! That’s an intelligent one. Great work.
Hehe, I've done it quite a few times in my Sticktoons comics.
Since it was originally intended to be a serial podcast, every episode of Nimue's Bar opens with a very short piece of second person narration. It sets the scene, and there are a lot of fairly consistent details: You live in the apartment next to the main character, and interact with many of the same people they do. Over the course of the story, the interactions between the characters and the second-person narration have been getting more and more direct...
shhhh .... There will be another one on Valentines day. For the ships.
Well done @mrtoontastic that finger is actually ignoring close to the reader. (As ented)
To @ForLackOfStars that’s an interesting a living way to tell a story within the story.
We're a anthology with various narrators that talk directly to the readers before each story arc...
so technically, not breaking the fourth wall, because we never even built one in our Oddly Vanilla little house.
