I would go with 3 as it has the space as logo number 4 yet doesn't have the large s that closes the smaller case letters. The small s could go with a bit more line thickness as the s is harder to read.
I like number 1 because it's a lot more stylized than the others. However the other ones are easier to read, so I think 3 would be the best one The space in 4 makes it look a little too scribbley, 3 is sort of the happy medium IMO.
I started a personal comic and I want to ask if the style is good and in what aspect I could improve here is a sample:
I'm dying, I can't decide which art style looks better. I love them both equally. But the deciding factor for me would be... Which art style would look more "professional" for a webcomic. Critiques and stuff on the character design as well are welcome as long as they're helpful <3
They both look beautiful, but if I had to choose I would choose the top one.
I like this! And if it's a style you're comfortable with, I say go for it! It kinda reminds me of a mix between All This Doubt and awut. Very nice! ~ <3
Both are nice but as @YoungAdventurer I prefer the top one. Anyway, it would be easier to compare if you drew the same character.
I'm pretty confortable with this style. I made it in a way I can draw fast, because I don't have much time.I'm happy that you liked it
Hey! Since my switch from b/w to color pages, I've been trying to tweak things a bit to help tone down the digital look. So far I've got this(below). Is that better, worse, or do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Current Page 5:
Slightly Tweaked Ver.
I like the slightly tweaked version better. They're both well done, but I think the second one is more interesting. It adds texture and matches the gritty western theme you seem to have going.
Thanks for the help! I thought the same thing myself, but I was also worried a bit about adding too much too it. Looks like I've got some thing new to add next chapter! ^^
I think I actually prefer the first one, the characters seem to stand out more and it looks cleaner. If you are going to use the second method I would recommend reducing the grain on your points of focus. (e.g. the walking character and the fellow with the red hat)
Very true! It's all on another layer, so I just need to lower the opacity some more and it should be good. Thanks for the help, Young Adventurer!
Hey people!! I need to know which side is better so I can include it for my next update. The one to the left is my original concept, but I don't know what would look good on Tapastic's comic page. Thank you for the help. Peace. :))
Personally, I prefer the one on the left.
Hello! I need a little help here : DWhich one looks better?
I prefer 1. with the highlights. : )
I was almost wondering what changed, but yeah, definitely go for highlights!
Hey everyone. Recently started a new comic called 'The Little Story of Jean'The art style is a HUGE change from my main series Shade, but I won't be using that for a comparison, because I'm trying to go for something entirely different (though you can still check Shade out and give me your thoughts.)I'll post the first 3 pages here (sorry for clogging up the thread)
For comparison, I'm drawing a lot of inspiration from this manga, Takemitsu Zamurai
i already like how this cover looks but i'd like some second opinions pls!!, i used the fill tool but ended up kinda likin it lol
