Aquila is a former god of destruction with light blue hair, along with a penchant for military coats and popped collars, who waged a personal war against the world of her creator. Kasumi is her creator, who Aquila saved through a miracle and is now Aquila’s partner in all things. Now that Aquila has atoned for her actions, she and Kasumi are touring the story worlds with their friends...while taking a bit of time to watch some TV and movies.

A preview from the first Re:Apotheosis: Tales from the Information Stream story, Labyrinth, going live on Friday:

Aquila frowned. Something was off about the situation, she knew it. She just couldn’t put her finger on it.

“You okay?” Kasumi asked, sitting down beside her. Across from her, Captain Infinite took his seat.

Aquila offered her a smile. “I’m fine. How are the girls doing?”

Kasumi poked her head out of the window of the carriage and looked behind them. “Natsuki and her friends have boarded their carriage. We should be on our way in a moment.”

Aquila nodded. “Good.” She closed her eyes and reached out with her senses. There it was! The barest trace of magic, around both carriages.

She opened her eyes. “We should get different carriages.”

“You think these ones have been tampered with?” Cap asked.

Aquila nodded. “There’s just enough of a hint of–”

A blinding flash of light burst through the windows, fading into darkness.

Aquila sighed. “We’ve just been transported.”

A quick update - with the third book of the Re:Apotheosis series going into pre-release publicity, book 1 is getting a new cover for the print and e-book editions:

The new colouring is by Dabdab, who also consulted on making the fonts pop. The original art by Foxtail will still remain for character portraits and thumbnails in the Tapas version.

A preview of the upcoming Re:Apotheosis bridge story, The Wedding of Daiki Yamato, going live next Friday:

Natsuki stared out the back window of the taxi and swallowed hard as the streets of Osaka passed by. They were only a couple of minutes away from the restaurant Daiki Yamato’s family had chosen for the pre-wedding dinner. The dinner where she would finally see Daiki Yamato again...and meet Athena.

“Are you okay?” Sayori asked from the front passenger seat. In the back seat beside Natsuki, Yuri and Yukari watched her with expectation.

Natsuki managed a half-hearted smile. “It’s just nerves.”

“It’s going to be okay,” Sayori said.

“That’s easy for you to say,” Natsuki declared. “You’re not the one who told Daiki Yamato that you liked him. What am I supposed to tell Athena? ‘Hello miss powerful half-wolf warrior woman, I’m sorry I tried to steal your fiancé’?”
