I'm sad to report that Comics Sherpa, the online comics site I started on, is going to close down on March 1st of this year.
To be honest it's been a zombie site since 2016, when GoComics pulled the Sherpa community from its main website with the claim they would be relaunching with a Sherpa 2.0 site in a few months. Months turned into years, and years turned into an entire presidency, and now they've finally admitted what we knew all along - it's doomed.
It's a pity - it was a friendly site with a lot of reader participation, as relatively troll free as my new home at Tapas has turned out to be. And it was great to be sharing a site with Peanuts, Garfield and Doonesbury. But now it's been given its death sentence. Perhaps it's time.
There are several Sherpa refugees now at Tapas, apart from my own: https://tapas.io/series/Smith ... here are all the ones I've been able to track down...
