Working on the pose of my defense duo: Corbin nullifies magic attacks using golden magic arrows while Willow stops physical pushes with her earth manipulation.

Hence:

(Also, just in case you're wondering, my print is trash because my stupid school taught us cursive instead, so...)

Proko quote at the end of this lesson about drawing the simplified pelvis:
"There you go, a manageable construction of the pelvis"
I laughed out loud.
I will not remember the 25 steps to draw the pelvis construction +
will never do this when I do figure drawing.
But I still think it´s good to know how this thingy is constructed

Oh god I hated the bucket crotch, and I remember it well. I also only did it once and will never again, lol.

On a separate note, I missed a day of daily sketch, but I've been sick so I'll try and catch up as soon as I can sit up without nausea, lol.

Colors! Recently watched a little short that mentioned texture overlays, which I haven't really messed with before (I think once, in a panel). I can't say any of the patterns really called my attention though! I might look into pattern sets online (I use Krita, mind you), but I also need to figure out more creative ways of applying it.

Just got back from my brother's wedding (so fun) and now Mig has covid (so not fun) so he's locked upstairs with the office and the guest room while we hope I don't get it. I can't work on the comic down here but will at least try to get a few simple ipad sketches done . It's a lot harder to do the anatomy stuff without my monitor for references but I'll do my best :triumph:.

Oh noooo, hope he will be all healthy soon! :nervous_candy:  stay safe!

Thank you, fingers crossed! Luckily he just had the booster for Omicron so we are hoping.

Ribcage part eins, this will probably be 3 parts, it´s a lot of information.
The ribcage is a bit easier to draw than the pelvis but I will also never do
the full construction when drawing. It´s good to know where is what
when you draw it but I will always draw a very simplified one

This is something I will train until I can draw it in my sleep.
Perspective is something I always wanted to get better at but I never really trained it seriously.
I did this after watching a video of a guy free handing those boxes. I didn´t free hand them,
I established the horizon line and the vp´s and it took me way too long.
It´s probably something for a daily training routine. How could Kim Jung Gi (rip) get so good
at stuff like that. I can´t even draw a simple box without guidelines
