Currently on the "dating section" of my comic and gotta admit..its been hard going so far. Coming up with the end of the first date has been a mix of emotions.Thank goodness for my love of movies and the endless "romantic" references though.I must of subconsciously made a literal reference to Angel-A when sketching this. Wasn't intentional. Midra was actually based off an awesome tall girl I once knew. And just drew this side profile. Friend pointed out the similarity!

The one figure on the right (also moving to the right) looks so much more alive and emphatic (embodic?) than all the other sketches. The feet and legs are spread to different positions and are moving and balancing the human as in real life. The pelvis area appears as the dominant volume, movement- and weight center, it really is in a living human. Contrary to the completely unnatural and counterintuitive "attending soldier" pose artifically overenhancing the breast area.
