Thank you! Kasha unfortunately won't be in the story for a very long time, but she is a very important character nonetheless. She's actually been a linchpin of the older iterations of Dragon Sparking's story for quite a while, but this version is a much needed re-design.

Old and kinda unoriginal design

I love this thread! because I love sketches! it's my favorite part of the process. I don't know... there's just this appeal to me when the drawing is still a bit messy. Anyway... here's my celebratory sketch for finishing episode 2 of my webtoon yesterday.

Yeah I pretty much just draw men to relax....

Tehehehehe!

Hopefully I got his hair right. The Genii sketch is for a panel, but I thought it worked alongside this. Haha!

@Kelheor They look so happy and smiley.:heart:

@KiabIce Great job! :grin:

@sayuniart Same here! Sketching is definitely the fun part. I like inking too, but sometimes I think a sketch is more interesting to look at. I could look at this archer all day. :sip:

Almost makes me want to fish, but then I remember that fishing is way too boring for me.

@Enigma_the_Slimy_Boi You don't like sitting for hours and hours?? :coffee_love: I especially used to enjoy river fishing with running water sounds. Guess I'm hard to bore.

@BarBarKetrab isn't it weird when you don't draw a character for a while and your art changes in the meantime? Fun though! Nice texture you have in this one.

@Kelheor doing pretty alright, you? I hope Summer doesn't lose her ice cream! Love those poses n smiles - feels like a nice outing/picnic :sunny:.

@sayuniart congrats on second ep! And oooooh wow that's a very handsome sketch!!

ADD, if I'm gonna sit around for hours I need something that occupies my mind more than my hands.

I can't thank enough the symetry ruler in CSP for existing
Trying myself at art deco, I wanted to add more details and stuff but I guess I'm lazy and will just play with texture when I'll color this.

Studied a wheellock1 mechanism (for firearms - used to ignite the gunpowder, but oooo expensive to produce).

Edit: oh also "chill lake times," I colored my art fight attack (Leon O'Hannon belonging to ChiefFlamingo) from yesterday :fishing_pole_and_fish: :relieved: aaaaand now you can tell that I'm too lazy and picked a character with similarities to one of mine :cry_01:. I want to do more "free coloring" (comic coloring is a pretty rigid process at this point) - it's so relaxing.

As a student mechanical engineering that thing looks nightmarish to model or draw xD really good job!

Thank you!! I followed my high school art teacher's words from drawing skeletons: "no one will count every bone", so there are some mechanical... liberties... here. Though there's a pretty good chance I'll be modeling something like this in blender at some point and... I'm scared! :persevere:
