Thank you! Me from 5 years ago would be stoked (and me 5 years from now will hopefully be embarrassed). I had to look up "Two Steps from Hell" and yeah, spot stink'n on! I assumed metal with a name like that but was pleasantly surprised by the choral/string/percussion arrangements (I also had to look up "weeb," but that's beside the point )

Thanks! It's a pretty good program,tbh. Not as comfy as Photoshop (for example, you can't collapse any bar/window into a small icon like your can in Photoshop, so the brushes and stuff take like 1/4 of the screen) but gives me a nice impression (the one I didn't get from CSP for example). Like it's not a poor program, seems like a good alternative to PS or CSP. This is just the one brush of those I chose, and I haven't even tried to color anything yet xD unfortunately it has a bug with PSD files, so I can't really work interchangeably with Photoshop. It can save PSD files, but it can't read them (like it can open them, but it doesn't see the pictures on the layers). It was not a thing before as I just found out, so I hope they will fix it sometimes soon.

I couldn´t upload any sketches in the last 9 days because everything that I sketched went into
the comic I´m working on and I can´t publish anything online otherwise I will be disqualified from
the contest.

The progress of the comic is good. I never thought I would be able to draw write, sketch, ink, color and letter
one page a day. Today is day 9 and I finished page 9. I´m trying to submit a comic for the highest category which
is 32 pages.

Trying to finish this comic is the best practice that I did in the last 8,5 years. It also shows me all of my
weaknesses but that´s not a bad thing

I'm finally done with the first volume of my comic and I'm free! Free to work on other things without feeling like I should be working on my comic... Well that was fun. Time to go back to sketching the thumbnails for the next volume.

Hi friends... It's been a little while, huh. I kind of got involved in making a comic pitch over the last year and a bit, which resulted in me sketching 206 comic pages because I was really not confident that I could do something this big. Didn't have the health to draw outside of the pitch, though I missed you all. This pitch now went sorta nowhere (I had one publisher ask for different art, one agent ask to change the story significantly, and one agent pass after long deliberation, while the rest was stock rejections), but I still learned a lot.

Anyways I'm back to just chilling now. I've found myself in a weird art block where I can technically still draw and write, I'm just unhappy with almost everything I make, so I'm trying out different software and tools, and trying to push myself to draw things I don't usually draw.

TBH I think 206 pages of comics kinda ruined me. Gotta learn how to enjoy the process again instead of chasing efficiency.
