Bi-weekly retrospective
What went well.
1. Started incorporated multiple of my personal favorite esthetics together into one style which received encouraging response.
2. My study in art history and theory is feeling more habitual and less
What could be done better.
1. technical errors on the lines and proportions. didn't double check like I normally do
2. Also realized I need to stop doing head-on animal portraits. (Start including at least torso distortion in composition)
In personal note (nothing specific art-related)
Incorporating mindfulness in how I plan for art is starting to bleed into other areas of my personal life.
It's giving me a safety-net about finally dealing with some stuff. I have also been getting more encouragement and acknowledgement from people I know personally about art "Don't you want to do more with your art?" "You shouldn't waste your talents". I'm really enjoying making art only to help yet I do realize I'm not contributing as much as I'd like to. Lot's of things to figure out this year
