Spoke with the sticker people in regards to my order...there were some procedures that I had forgotten and I needed to make some adjustments to my file, but they agreed to re-do my order with the cuts. I'm good with that- submitted the fixed file this morning- almost freaked out coz my computer went on the fritz last night & I started getting anxiety flashbacks from 2019 when it all of sudden crapped out and wouldn't boot up properly.

I def gotta start looking at getting a new laptop by the end of the year around the holidays.

This week's been quite the shit storm. Yesterday, my instagram account was hacked due to my classmate's idiocy and Im currently waiting to for instagram support to get it back. Really annoyed this had to happen literally the day before my webcomic's latest update, and in a week where I have two assingments due the week after one another. Like couldn't it have waited till when I wasn't busy?

Repositioning my garden setup seems to be doing some wonders for my Ivy. Huge dose of positivity. Once it grows out I might try to put another flower in there.

Now that my mini crisises are starting to calm down I can try to focus a little better...

This pollen is really starting to irritate my eyes & skin- so glad for the rain in the wee hrs of the morning...just ONLY got 2.5 more months of this.

I got the table for the show! So now I can get back to looking at hotel rooms and reserve one...just have 2 more prints to order and the book to remaster. Gotta be a little careful with finances coz we still gotta eventually try to move; right now all indicators point to seeing what prices are looking like between the end of April and end of May- if things are still too high we might be here for the summer before looking again between August and end of September.

UPDATE: Reserved the hotel room- was freaking out a bit because the "saver" site I was trying to go through had the hotel that I wanted to stay at a price that wasn't too much, but more than I wanted to pay...I used my AAA auto membership & got a room at the same spot for $70 less; now all that is left on the agenda is to place an order for the 2nd set of prints, and start trying to work on remastering the comic to print in time for the show.

Still hoping that my sales will be enough to justify this trip..!

As for apartment hunting, right now all signs point to we may not be doing anything for the summer...fam is painting the nephew's room- I don't think it would be happening if they were still in "move soon" mode. Kinda puts me at a little ease myself as to I can possibly go ahead and get the much needed shelf unit so that way I can clear my desk and get back into the mindset of doing some art stuffs.

Sometimes such symptoms can be caused by stress......but the only way to be sure is to go for a doctor.

Did the dentist thing yesterday- the problem tooth has been removed...just 20,000 more visits and a bajillion dollars and my dental issues will be over.

So, I definitely haven't set very ambitious art goals for 2022. Pretty much everything I wanted to accomplish by the end of the year is almost done.
In more interesting news, I'm reading Finders Keepers by Stephen King and I'm loving it so far.

Unfortunately, No plant picture to reward you for humoring my pointless post. My plants are doing bout the same for now.

I'm not sure to be honest. My parents originally got it from an estate sale and I took it off their hands once it started dying. Originally it was an Ivy bundled with a flower and another plant. Only the Ivy is left now but it's somewhat thriving now.
