Finally started coloring pages again for The Clique #4 last night. Satisfied with how the page is looking; gotta add one last element, then I move on to the next page.

YES- I got approved to MomoCon!!!

I dont have that much to do, just gonna create a new set of prints(2) and finish inking/coloring/lettering Clique #4(as well as get it printed).

Only part that hurts is the table price has INCREASED- but I want to do this, so...

I started off the year being sick, but I'm better now- and being more productive than last year; working on a comic, ordered re-prints on a comic I ran out of(re-prints shipped out yesterday, so I'm guessing I should see them by Friday at the earliest), and ordered this LED lightbox/pad that I had on my Amazon shop list since 2016...the price dropped by $30(originally $90) and I had a gift card credit that someone gave me at Christmas(and made up at least 80% of the cost). I had just thrown out my old lightbox(got water damaged in the storage fiasco, so this is an upgrade- the LED light pad is BRIGHTER and thinner).

The LED light pad arrived! Box was damaged, and I almost lost it, but the light pad isn't damaged...the size is 14" x 22" with a workable area of 12" x 20"

And yeah, it's a Huion..! It is REALLY thin & nice!

The re-prints came in yesterday...happy but kind of "meh" at the same time. I really dont like this new paper/stock that they're printing the interior on; it looks like it's sucked all the life out my color work.

When your computer so slow it pauses your music whenever you put stylus to screen

Sounds like you're using a program that eats up a LOT of RAM; you might need to get more RAM...but if your computer is at compacity, then it may be time for another computer that's more powerful.

Speaking of music, I started curating my anime tunes playlist to listen to when I'm working on art/comic pages.

Filled out an application to Awesome Con, which was one of the 3 shows that I wanted to do this year(along with Multiverse Con- which I already applied to, and MomoCon- which I applied to AND got accepted); just found out that Awesome Con is almost 3 WEEKS after MomoCon...

Part of me is like, "cool cool cool" and the other part of me is kinda freaking out; dont know if I could pull off 3 weeks of prep for another show- also not to mention that MomoCon is a local show for me while Awesome Con is a [possible] 8 hr drive to the DC area(which means pay for hotel, gas, and food)...the last part I dont really have an issue with. I was thinking that the show was in July...

oh well.

actually gonna be going to a small local con next week so im pretty excited~ wont be tabling or anything just chilling and socializing but if the size is decent, the feel is okay and they hold it again next year maybe I'll consider trying then
