sometimes you can just get dryers repaired?

I was a maintenance man, for awhile, so I don't mind working on things but all of these newer appliances tend to be more complex than the cheap stuff they put in apartments (And I use to work on). Was fairly sure it was the drive motor, parts on that hover in that $100 to $150 range. So dropping that much on a 13 year dryer... And then waiting for other things to break just didn't make sense.

we had our new dryer for all of 2 months before my mom dropped a container of ointment down into the dryer trap hahahaha and we had to call someone to take the machine apart since it got caught on the fan at the bottom and we couldn't reach it.

Ha! At least she owned up to it. You'd be surprised at people lying about how things got where they shouldn't be.

When you put your character to draw in a request thread to be drawn, and it's the only one that isn't liked by the thread OP or has least amount of like.

Can't help but thinking my character sucks nobofy likes it and they actually don't wanna draw it

It's a great character!
Maybe it's just that people already saw him somewhere else? In my case, I don't necessarily like every occurrence of a picture.

Edit: also, your artstyle is very detailed and extremely personal. It may be quite a big task to redraw in another style. A real challenge, maybe, when people are just looking for a quick exercice?

There some high school clique type stuff that goes down from time to time on here.

We can't all be every persons cup of tea. There's a freedom in not being to too concerned if everyone likes you... Or all the things you do.

Pretty sure it's not that this specific time, but yes. THAT too. Sure, bad art is not the only reason to be ignored.

Sometimes we also have to look for the help we need and be open to recieve it. For some people and situation we have to accept that our help comes more subtle forms. You can't really change how it arrives. But if you take it to heart, it will always be what you need to get through.

Thank you Ah yeah! I never considered how my art is actually seen by others, maybe they think of it as something unusual/weird or not conventionally pretty.

Mmmmm cake...

We're still working on the pond. I woke up to seeing my mom's yanked out a ton of gravel and the plants from the upper part of the pond so now it's just muddy and empty. We turned the water back on maybe thirty minutes ago and are watching to see how it's circulating. We have our waterfall back - not a trickle - actual lil waterfall! Wee! But now it sounds like there's two waterfalls and I gotta go out and fix it in a moment ugh
