I'm not too sure. I haven't had much of anything on my skin in the last few months since the hives got me hard and I've been SUPER paranoid about any itch, let alone going into sun for just a walk to the car or driving in the sun for a while... I know some products can tint your skin depending on if you put it on unevenly... But another thing that effects skin's appearance is just if you drank water or not. Or if your hot or not.
When I'm thirsty, I get pale. A feat for someone with olive skin. When I get overheated, my skin turns red as the blood reacts to this.
(also random fun fact: did you know that sitting in front of a mechanical fan to cool yourself can actually make you hotter? i forget the long-winded science explanation for it, but it's basically doing something to your blood and skin so that if you aren't in front of the fan for even a few seconds, your body temperature has to rush itself to regulate from being so cold, which something... about... dilating blood vessels? it'll make you hotter)
