I’ve been feeling sick for the past few days but I’m glad I finished the coding refinements I planned to do for my main project site.

These were done over the course of about a week and I finished the last ones this morning!

It sucks being sick and having to work. Feel better.

I own a ramen yatai which requires me being outside all the time. Even when I’m sick I don’t take time off.

TGIF...I am so ready for the weekend(I was ready on Monday)

New beard & stache trimmer came in so I can LIBERATE MY FACE...trying to schedule a barber appointment; I really hate that dude started scheduling appointments with this app- 80% of the time he's booked almost 2 months in advance and then this app is crappy as hell...I just tried to book an appointment and it's not sending a confirmation code to my phone. By the time I'll get a code that time slot may be taken by someone else whose app is working better on their phone- and that's not even mentioning that prices have gone up, but I like the way he cuts my hair so...I might text him.

Okay I ruled out getting a replica lightsaber to further dec out my wall...I dont have enough space under my bottom long shelf to aesthetically balance it out(though it would look cool glaring onto my tablet screen); I guess I'm back to trying to invest in a small neon sign again.

Got all the Clippy points on the CSP event, so I'll start looking around at brushes that I want to get coz those things start expiring fast...also thought of an idea for my next piece- and I'm SUPER eager to start on it

Suddenly getting a lightbulb moment when watching an indian kid pencil rendering beautiful art from animal photos. Finally my long postponed postcard art #5 is getting a heading, which I was having no real inspiration until now. (My subject is Sanariya but can't get a good idea how to make a nice postcard art of her.)

So my focus will be BG Pattern design, creative lighting, & rendering of her translucent white feather. Geez this art focus is gonna be so hard to work on.

I'm sorry to my readers I didn't focus on current work, things pop up in my head when I procrastinate. (am suppose to finish a side-comic in a day or 2)

Update on the art station light: I FINALLY found a art brush/palette neon(LED) light that I can get and put in the empty area; I was looking at one that was priced at $200 so I kinda nixed getting it coz that would be too much...the current one is on Am*zon at $40, which is a hell of a lot cheaper(though I'm not partial to the colors).

Planning on getting that next week after I make sure all my bills are taken care of for the month...

Fam had a slot reserved with the barber I've been trying to get an appointment with and they decided to not send their kid, so I'm going in their place...gonna feel good to finally get a fresh cut!

Currently working on a piece that I had started after I finished the Jem X Dazzler piece- back to doing on OC of mine; just finished the pencils, about to start inks today.

Also got my plant in! It was saying it would arrive by Monday, but it ended up coming a day earlier...so the plan is to clean/dust the shelf today where said plant is going to sit, re-pot the plant into the pot I bought, & water it a little to make sure it is on its way. It doesnt require that much light or water, but I do have to make sure it doesnt get dust on it, so I will be doing a little more cleaning/dusting of my shelves(also got a spray bottle to spray the leaves down so that it stays nice looking).

UPDATE: Ordered the art palette light- had enough extra cash points that it knocked the price down enough; between that & free shipping I was able to go ahead and get it...should arrive by next Tuesday at the latest.

Finished the OC piece- took last night off & climbed in bed a little earlier than I usually do...slept good and didnt want to get up this morning; I think one more night like this and I might be rested enough to get started on the next piece.

Going to have to get 2 POTS in regards to the plant...it looks like they sent 2 small plants bunched together instead of one; also the plant is a LITTLE LARGER than the current pot I bought- hence, the reason/journey to get 2 pots.

Got in my new glasses frame(s)...my eye doctor appointment is next Monday- which reminds me; I need to call them and let them know I ordered my own frames.

Got the art palette neon/LED light today- IMMEDIATELY put it up..!

Ordered the stands for the nendoroids this morning...I should get those by the end of the week; the art space is starting to come together!

Been taking a couple of nights off from working on a piece- mainly because I've had to get up a little earlier than usual to make an eye doctor appointment & a dentist appointment. Kept waking up off and on in the wee hours of the morning, but the sleep was good...gonna try to get back to working on the piece since I don't have to get up super early anymore until next Friday.

I found myself drawing a bit more sketches on my selfmade sketchbooks comparing to just separate papers.

Up this morning(afternoon) and trying to finish the pencil/rendering aspect of this piece so that I can make some final decisions on the composition before I go to inks...

Gonna try to do this dusting/cleaning on my art area shelves, so that I can start arranging stuffs...and still gotta go look at some pots so that I can deal with the plant situation; that will come in this week(the dusting however, will be done today).

Got in the nendoroid stands last week- and got in my Boba Fett Funko Pop figure today...scheming to get Boba Fett's [toy] ship next month for my birthday and that will be the final touch for my Star Wars shelf(probably until I get an itch & get the Ahsoka figure in October); gonna put a few gundams on the other shelf with my nendoroids.

Started inking the current piece I've been working on- inks are looking nice so far(I still got a fuckton of HAIR to render, so fingers crossed- 80s hairstyles).

Gonna dust clean down my shelves today coz I'm now heading into the week of the family get together and I need to start focusing & getting things done around the house. Also gonna slide by the store before it's too late this evening and grab these red velvet cupcakes I've been craving for the past few weeks.

About to slide into a new month and I'm still trying to figure some financial things...I kinda need to stop dragging my feet and just go ahead and get there and try.

Finished inks on the piece and started laying down flats; not sure how much more I can do this week coz I need to start doing some cleaning & prepping stuff for the family get together- been putting it off coz my desire to want to finish inks and now I'm kind of low key stressed.

All I gotta do is make it to Saturday night...once the event is over, I will have my "me" time again.

Did some dusting & cleaning this morning; unboxed my nendoroids and put them on the shelf...about to head out to work and then grab my stuff for the get together when I leave this evening. Still gotta sweep and vacuum in my room, and prep the food(will cook one of the dishes tonight).

Star Trek Discovery started its final season and I'm gonna have my butt in front of the TV watching tonight...

Survived the family get together...not sure how much longer I'll be up after only getting 4 hrs of sleep last night;

Found out Discovery had TWO episodes last night; watched the first one, but had to shut down the TV on the second one. I may watch that one tonight...

UPDATE: Ended up NOT watching the 2nd episode, crashed and slept for about 12 hrs...still tired, but eating a cup of ramen noodles & trying to get my strength/energy up; not sure if I'll do much of anything today- I'm really tired.
