The weather/ Moon god: ALIGNAK

It's been MONTHS since I've last made a forum post. Ouch.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the moon god, "Alignak." I wanted to write a comic series in the same vein as Avatar the last Airbender and came across this moon god. Only I don't know anything about him and it doesn't seem like many people do.
I was hoping you guys might know something about him. And if anyone was also interested in helping to create this Avatar esk world.

Hmmm... looks like he's not a very popular deity
My quick internet search gave quite humble results. The most informative are, probably, those:

ALIGNAK - the Inuit God of Weather (Native American mythology)

Hope it helps at least a bit.

Also you can try to find a specialists in Inuit mythology and ask them (which could be a best solution).

thank you, I saw the first article already but the video is new. Thanks for that.
Alignak being so unknown is partially the reason i was attracted to it for the story. I guess this way I have more room for creativity

I guess since there is such an air of mystery around this God, it does give your the reins to do whatever you want with him.

I mean, look at what they did to Thor and the Nose mythology (Marvel), and that stuff is pretty well documented. I guess just look at the culture and how the other Gods are depicted as to keep to the theme in regards to character and story?
As long as you are respectful of the culture I guess there isn't anything really stopping you from doing anything with the character!
