There's a possible Possible Bot Thread ( I’m a webtoon artist — free feedback on your work!) Don't Open the Email!

The thread titled "I’m a webtoon artist — free feedback on your work!" by a user called Lee22 is giving me bot warnings in my head.
They show no evidence of them being a webtoon artist and they are asking for people's emails instead of just posting their review in your comic's comment section or in the thread itself.
They've been a user for 2 days, have no profile picture and no other comments.

If you posted your comic and email in that thread I can't stress this enough:
DON'T OPEN ANY EMAIL YOU GET FROM THEM!

This may come off as harsh to this person, but I can't ignore the warning bells in my head.

yeah the asking for an email thing seemed real suspicious to me. i dont know if theyre a bot but im not going to give out my email lmao

Yes indeed.
And even if they aren't a bot they could still be a scammer or someone with a virus.
Asking for your email is so sketchy.

Very fishy indeed. Something about how the beginning of that thread is written to is another warning bell to me like it feel like it was written by a bot.

Asking for an email address is really suspicious.

A few years ago I encountered a scam where someone commissioned me to draw a picture and was very generous, offering a high price. When I had already given him the PayPal payment page, he insisted that I give him the email address for my PayPal account.

Shortly after I gave it to him, I received a fake PayPal system email saying there was a problem with the transfer and that I needed to pay some money first to unlock certain features. They also claimed this money would be refunded to me later.

Upon closer inspection, that email was sent from Gmail.A PayPal system email sent from Gmail, lol

If it's legit, hopefully they'll fix their post and be careful about what PII they ask for in the future. But to be frank, I also think that post is very fishy. Most experienced artists will happily tell you who they are and what they've worked on, so hiding that info is sus, at least in this case.
