Me when I’m busy with life.

Oh boy so many ideas can’t wait to write them down.

Me when I have free time

  • Crickets *

This happens kinda routinely with me

  • God, this panel/art is so ugly.
  • Ugh, I'll take a break, finish it later...
    (few days pass)
  • Why isn't this panel finished?
  • Guess it's gonna be ugly...

(post withdrawn by author, will be automatically deleted in 24 hours unless flagged)

unfortunately I can relate to the first one pretty strongly. I use writing to process a lot of my thoughts, trauma, questions etc. I find it helpful even when it can't give me answers or technically solve things

  1. Wait I can actually make the character become a mouse if I wanted to...I have so much power.
  2. Yes that sounds so nice..
  3. Why is nobody reading my things?
  4. I wish people would read novels more on Tapas..
  5. Wait...why does this part look so cheesy when you write it..
  6. Oh wait, if I'd be reading this, would I understand it?
  7. This character is such a baddie, I love it.

lol, wait. what? why? who? how? when?

  1. I have to finish this part to get to the part I want to get to...
  2. Hah twitter would cancel me if I did that. Not that anyone reads so who cares.
  3. I've used this word too much, what's another one.
  4. How do I spell that? Mm... Let's restructure the sentence to avoid that word, actually.
  5. This reads as horror, right? Or is that idiot from writing group gonna read about this girl being scared and this guy thinking about SA'ing her and think she's a wh*re and that we should be rooting for the guy to get the girl again? God. Do I really miss the mark so hard or are some readers just kinda dumb? (In relation to a story I haven't started posting yet but is coming soon)
  6. (recently since my friend is in the psyche ward and I've been giving her print outs of my work so she doesn't die of boredom) What if the nurses read this and try and commit me..? (then stress that I sent someone in the ward for PTSD from SA a whole chapter about a guy justifying how he's gonna SA a woman because I'm a massive idiot)
  7. Oh I'm in a foal mood, I should go write that gory part ahead of time.
  8. I could be drawing.
  9. I could be on twitter.
  10. Is this too archaic? Every time I send a chapter my coworker says it's written too archaically...
  11. What if people think it's AI...? It's not but I write so weird...
  12. (lamenting noises over the fact spell check hates the British spelling of words, but if I change it to British it will then hate the American spellings and being Canadian we typically use a mix of both)
  13. Does anyone even like reading the type of stuff I write?
  14. What's the point?

too relatable. realizing i used the same word three times in a sentence drives me nuts.

ohh, I hope your friend is recovering well. Sending lots of love.

I legit just went to add dialog to my new panel (on the computer) only to realize that I colored someone's skin two drastically different colors but couldn't tell because the colors aren't as vibrant on my drawing device.

  • I should probably be working on my comic instead of writing an entire book and it’s sequel that I’m not actually going to post and feeling upset that no one can obsess over it with me.

  • It would be really funny if these two characters had a relationship… But I won’t… But actually, I’ll make it a one-sided relationship…

  • Teeheehee I love these characters so much

wait, you wrote a whole book and sequel? what's it about? if you're okay with sharing, tho you won't be posting it

Well, I haven’t finish the sequel, and it’s also not exactly a book either. I wrote it like a book, but it’s split up in scenes like a comic/movie script. This is because I wanted it to be like a script in case I make it into a comic someday, but I really enjoy writing like it’s a book. This is why I won’t post it, because it’s designed to be a comic script heh.

I think I told you a bit about it at some point… It’s about this guy named Victor who’s trying to live a normal life working a minimum wage job, but he inconveniently catches on fire if he gets emotional. There’s also the Hero Association trying to get him to join them (because they really need more recruits) but he can’t, for reasons not revealed until the end. I could probably write ten paragraphs about it hah… Then in the sequel the problems of the first book are resolved and he’s now a part of the Hero Association. There’s a new villain and stuff- he tries to have a social life (Just like me heh 🥲) I’ve got a pretty good idea of how it’ll end… Hopefully my brain doesn’t decide to cook up a third book :sob: I need to work on other stuff

ahh, i do remember this one. I thought you were already releasing it lol

Nah, I’ve learned my lesson to not try to publish two stories at the same time.

definitely not two comics, that sounds like a recipe for carpel tunnel. but you already have another comic you tried to publish simultaneously then?

Yeah, I attempted to publish both my first comic, August, as well as my newer comic Recollections of the Prince at the same time for a while. I think the real problem was how unfinishable my first comic was. No end in sight. So I gave up on it. (Mostly) I may still want to make a page here and there

I'm usually thinking about my writing and my characters constantly. Even when i was at a symphony the other day i was thinking 'Oooh this would be a great background song while X is fighting Z and suddenly Y appears and accidentally gets in the middle of it all'

Is this too sad or too creepy?

Legit my most recent panel of my comic "Mental soup" is a little too disturbing to release I think. Imma have to redesign and remake it.

When you torment your OCs and put them through emotional hell.
