Things that you are tired of seeing is a character design

-The generic, plain, normal schoolboy designs in the harem animes. There is literally no effort put into this type of character because viewers are supposed to insert themselves in his place...I get it.

And it gets worse with the personality. Like, he's as exciting as watching paint dry, but his harem full of amazing people just trip over themselves for him. It's like..."I'm hearing why you all like him, but I'm not seeing any of it in action"

When the "cute guy" has only one type of hair style. Ya'll know the one:

And it's like...really? With the amount of hairstyles and hair textures out there for guys, you'd think we could get a little bit more creative than "the side-swipe part"

I'm tired of the big cold guys always wearing a suit and having some kind of frozen expression and dark hair. They're treated by other characters like they're the most handsome ever and usually have an unpleasant personality. Bonus point if they're some kind of big boss and filthy rich. Not saying this kind of character is always bad, but I cannot really get into a story with a cold and unpleasant looking guy in a suit as a love interest.

I see this and raise you the "A-cup Angst Girl". She has reasonably sized breasts or even smaller breasts, but is almost always insecure and think she's not attractive. Like, I know this is a real insecurity and it's valid, but like...not every woman with smaller breasts feel this way??

I’m crying . The angst girl always has a small chest and she also always has two hotties after her that she gives 0 attention to. They just remain persistent.

Right! We see a variety of 12 interesting girls that are drop-dead gorgeous...and end up competing for the most boring good-for-nothing guy in the whole school. Now that I think of it Bella Swan is the equivalent of the harem boy.

Edgey, brooding characters need to have bangs in their face/covering an eye and if their hair is short BONUS POINTS FOR A HOODIE DOING THE TRICK. More points if it's black or a dark colored hairstyle.

I seriously just want to make a character with this dark edgey design and make them happier than Sakura Chiyo.

This topic is fun, though~. I guess I'd have to say something I'm tired of seeing is the 'cool blue magical girl':

Always glamorous, mature, and responsible, often from a rich family and/or the 'school council president' (seriously, I'm pretty sure at least 3/4 of these girls are school council presidents). And these are all from the Pretty Cure series; there are even more 'cool blue magical girls' outside of it...

It starts to feel really repetitive after a while, all the other magical girl colors have much more variety in personality...sure, there are lots of 'silly pink kawaii' mains, but there are a few tomboys and some motherly types, too. Blue magical girls don't have nearly as many exceptions to the rule...so it's always nice to find one. Like this crazy sweetheart:

Not the design I'm thinking of, but she's a close contender. Her design just reminds me that it looks like KH3's stylists took all of their outfits from RWBY's original creator :3 cause originality is no originality when you start to include plaid on everyone~

Fighters or warriors with long hair they keep down and flowing everywhere...put that crap up out of your eyes...and into a ponytail at least. It just makes sense tactically.
