I also prefer the old style...by orders of magnitude, actually. o_O The two are like night and day in terms of artistic quality...like, just compare the hands alone in the top panel; there's no contest.
The characters placed better within each panel, and posed in more dynamic, visually-interesting ways. Even the speech bubbles are placed better and more impactfully.
Maybe the lines are thicker, but they more than make up for it with their certainty; clearly outlining the forms of each drawing, rather than sketchily wandering around the way they do on the left.
Like, usually I try not to make remarks like this when artists do Old vs. New posts, but...I mean, seriously, what happened?? What were you trying to fix or improve upon??? Did you just switch from traditional to digital...? Because that's the only way I could maybe understand how so many well-developed technical skills could suddenly disappear...
