Thoughts on Fire Alpaca?

So I just downloaded Fire Alpaca and I want to know your opinions about it.

My main thing is Clip Studio but I sometimes use Fire Alpaca for sketching if I want something light with no distractions - a bit like those distraction free programs writers use to keep them on track. It's not as fully featured or customisable, so I don't get sidetracked by brush settings and so on.

That said, it's good at what it does and I've seen finished pages made with it that look great so if it works for you, go with it.
It's always good to try new tools or methods.

So far i've only used it for linework which it's pretty good for. Haven't touched the other features though mostly because I use photoshop for everything else.

I use FireAlpaca for drawing and colouring my comic pages and I do like it. It reminds me of Open Canvas, which I used a lot when I was younger. For a free program I think it's great and works well if you don't need any fancy tools. For anything fancier I do suggest trying Photoshop.

Honestly, I think any program can be used to create good art and it all comes down to personal preference. I like the simplicity of FireAlpaca but for some it might feel restricting. It's worth trying out, though.
