Posting once a week feels good. But having classes and writing at the same time is a chore. My tenacity keeps me writing despite how busy the day gets. It's incredible how you can put what you truly love above everything else.
Writing novels and publishing them for the public, and knowing that they'll read me, is something that motivates me. It makes me say, "Damn, this is really satisfying." Even though I know what I write isn't to everyone's taste, I feel I should keep working hard for those who truly like it.
I know people who are desperate for their novels to become famous and to build a large community. But I know it's only a matter of time before their novel grows. It may become one of the big ones, and it may not. But that shouldn't stop your determination. What should really keep you going is the love you give to what you write.
