Tipping question for artist with more than one comic

I noticed to get tips you need 250 subs.
Now I am no where near that but given that they count my highest comic's subscribers, if I get 250 sub on that comic do I need to get 250 subs on my others comics for tips to be available on them?
or would just unlocking tips on one comic make all my comics able to have tipping on them?

is the 250 subs thing new? I only have 29 and I have tipping enabled. To answer your question, no. There's other comics that have over 250 subs and others with less. Besides tips are based on creators not individual comics.

@KoreanTacos I believe new creators do not send an email and instead press a button on the dash to activate tipping if they have at least 250 subs

@dragonmagma The tipping is connected to the creator, not the single series!

(But now I'm curious if the tipping sub count is for one series or cumulative across a creator's works. Anyone know?)

For the tipping count, it's based on your series with the most subscribers. Across all my series, I have 56 subscribers, but only 50 of them count toward ad revenue/tipping because that's the subscriber count for my most popular comic, Penciled.

Mmm, I should've worded that better. I meant what if you have 150 unique subscribers across several series? (The grey number below your profile picture on the desktop version)

If I'm understanding this correctly, it should be the same thing.

Your series with the most subscribers will be used to count towards the ad revenue/ tipping threshold needed, but all other series' subscribers don't count.
If you have 75 subscribers for one comic and 200 subscribers for another for a total of 275 subscribers (assuming that all subscribers are subscribed to one or the other but not both), you get ad revenue because your most subscribed to comic has more than 100 subscribers needed to activate ad revenue, but not tipping because, although your total subscriber count is above the 250 subscribers needed, your most subscribed series is still below the 250 subscribers needed.

I hope that could clear something up.

I have 56 unique subscribers across all 3 of my series.

But only 50 of them count towards the ad revenue and tipping threshold because that's the number of subscribers I have on my most subscribed to comic.
I hope this finally cleared things up.
