I say look into the different vampires from various cultures! While they have different names, they share a common theme of draining some sort of substance from a victim, blood, metaphysical life-force, and so on.

The jianshi is neat since it sort of combines vampiric and zombic elements.

I think you can make any kind of vampire you want in your own world. Take the basics of what you think makes a vampire and put your own spin on it. People here have also suggested some very good sources. I would also throw in What We Do in the Shadows, and the Legacy of Kain series. My favorite resource for different type of vampires would be the Vampire: The Masquerade game. It's a tabletop RPG, and there's tons of books on their worldbuilding. They have different factions with different fashion and vampire races as well as different supernatural abilities. It's super cool.

Dracula don't give a sheit what new ships there are. He uses them like always. Ships have sails, and sailing he does!

My hot take on his ability was, that his refusal to adapt to new technology evolved into something supernatural. xD
