Hi! I’m Navanya Parihar, a passionate storyteller who’s been developing a BL manhwa idea that combines office romance, family curses, and supernatural drama. I’m looking for an artist partner who’d love to co-create and bring this story to life with me.
Project Details / Pitch / Sample
The story follows an emotionally complex bottom lead (a genius in the IT department of a big company, hiding a cursed family past) and a charismatic top lead (a star in the sales department, famous for his charm with clients). Their romance is challenged not only by office politics but also by a supernatural family curse that threatens to tear lovers apart.
It’s a mix of:
•Romantic tension (on/off relationship struggles, miscommunication)
•Workplace comedy & drama
•Emotional family backstory (generational curse)
• Supernatural mystery.
Paid or Non-Paid? Collaboration?
This is non-paid upfront. I’m offering a profit-sharing collaboration. My plan is to publish on platforms like Tapas, Webtoon Canvas, and possibly Patreon. Since art is the toughest part, I’m willing to give the artist a larger revenue share (60–70%).
Skills I’m Looking For
•Comfortable drawing BL couples (romance + intimacy, but not explicit)
•Semi-realistic or semi-manga style (emphasis on expressive emotions & atmosphere)
• Ability to design modern office settings & casual fashion
• Open to brainstorming together
Required Software (Optional)
Any drawing software is fine (Clip Studio, Photoshop, Procreate, etc.), as long as the files can be exported for webtoon format.
Schedule / Scale
We can start small — maybe character sheets + 1–2 test pages. If we both feel good, we can set a realistic upload schedule (like 1 episode every 2–4 weeks). I want this to be fun, not stressful.
