Hi, I’m Shiro Kuma!
I write slow-burn, character-driven stories that lean into emotion, clever dialogue, and deliberate pacing. My work shifts across genres—mystery, romance, dark academia, speculative fiction—as long as the heart of the story is honest.
I started writing after a difficult breakup that ended a seven-year relationship. From that heartbreak came a bear named Kuma… and the stories haven’t stopped since.
You can currently find me publishing Registry House, a surreal mystery serial about classified documents, vanishing identities, and the quiet horror of institutional memory. It’s dry, tense, a little bit weird, and deeply fun to write.
