The comic length is...(does some math).... well, it's long. I'm counting 100 chapters(at least), and that's only the first book. However, the first book has been planned to work as a standalone, so there's absolutely no need to continue to the second, third and fourth book afterwards. Those are only there in case there's added interest in the story.
The ideal manga style would be a combination of the Japanese and Korean((manhwa) styles, and with a dash of western cartoon style mixed in. Pure Japanese manga style is a little bit too young/cutesy for this story, as there are some grim themes to it(it isn't a story without hope, however - I hate those).
EDIT: @mgart1937 I'm sorry, I didn't notice you requested for an example comic/manga that I love. Lessee...
Er... You know, it's hard to compare my story to any existing mangas/webcomics, because I've not seen too many like it. Plotwise, it slightly reminds me of Kubera(because of the dark undertones), but the kind of art that I'm looking for is more in the vein of "Tower of God". This is, however, me speaking of the best possible situation. I would be willing to work with a less adept artist so long as they have the passion for the story and at least good grasp of the art basics. That said, I value artists' time, so I am not sure if such an individual will ever come my way. That's why I'll be writing and honing my craft even as I keep networking and searching for a possible artist.
