Tools that make your life easier

I use Clip studio paint for flat coloring. The lasso tool,
fill tool, magic wand + invert don´t lead to results that
I want or which I can offer to customers.

The magnetic lasso is a great tool for line art which is not closed.
The tool is definitely a life changer for me because it speeds up
the process at least 10x.

The other one is also for coloring and that is the erase along edge tool.

The good thing about both tools is that they accurately fill the area under
the line art and not just on the inner part of the line art.

So my question is, do you have tools that speed up your process.
I´m always looking for new tools

I spam the curve line tool. Let the dots connect themselves

Also the paint bucket tool. Makes coloring much less tedious.

I do that with circles when I sketch in Autodesk Sketchbook.

In krita, there is the colorize mask, which is like multiple simultaneous paint bucket tools. It creates a layer under your lineart where you only have to draw a single dot of your desired color within the lines and it will automatically create a non-anti-aliased color layer. There are a few quirks to it(I'm not certain if it does not work with with alphas value , or I haven't found the option) but I do find it faster than the fill bucket tool because you don’t need to fiddle with the option to perfectly fill every space.

Reference layer! (CSP)

If you set it on your lineart, you can fill areas on the other layers without using magic wand. Of course it only works if your lines closed, so in other cases I use magic wand too, but this fastens coloring.

My other favourite is sub view window. You can open one or more reference photo, character sheets, etc. so no need to switch between windows. You can also use color picker on it, so I use it for coloring my characters.
