Darn it.
Just read something about the two tv shows Witcher and Mandalorian.
I have seen neither. I have watched exclusively for the past couple of years Chinese dramas or European mysteries. I don't watch English language TV unless it's Dr. Who. I am aware of these shows but am uninterested in them.
In my story Bright Morn of Issareth he adopts a young, abused boy of about 13.
Evidently in these two stories the lead adopts a child.
Poopsy.
but... Bright Morn is a Calaryn (Kal-a-rin) they live to 200 and have one child a lifetime. They are half human and are their own fathers. Upon dying they transfer their essence to a human woman and she gives birth to them where they are essentially human until puberty when the Calaryn side of them manifests and they have another 200 years of life.
As it turns out, this child that Bright Morn adopts is a Calaryn and many other complications.
Bet I'm still accused of ripping off an idea. Still, I've put too much work into these to change (I'm on chapter 64 of Volume II) so it'll have to keep going.
sigh.
I know this kind of thing happens all the time. Guess I need to pay more attention to English Language TV but it just doesn't interest me.
Poopsy.
