Oh! Yes, all your tweets show up in your twitter feed/timeline/(I'm not sure what twitter officially calls this)! Whether you're replying to another tweet, posting with a hashtag, posting in that little "what's happening" box on top of the page -- all of these end up in the same place, in your twitter feed/timeline of tweets, so you don't have a specific "wall" you can post on in the same way that you do here or on Facebook.
(Forgive me if this is stuff you already know, and you don't need to know this for webcomicchat -- it's just some stuff about how twitter works!)
If you tweet with a #hashtag in your tweet, it'll still show up in your feed/timeline, your followers will see it in their twitter feeds, it'll be visible on your main page, etc. etc. It'll also show up in that hashtag list because it has a #. You don't look silly if you post answers to webcomicchat questions as normal tweets, as long as #webcomicchat is in the tweet somewhere! Most people do this --- it's a chance to talk about your experiences as an artist! :>
The only thing that doesn't show up on your main page or in your follower's feeds is -- if you tweet with an @[person's name] at the beginning of the tweet, it won't show up on your feed/timeline on your page (unless someone specifically looks at replies by clicking "tweets and replies" at the top of your feed on your page), and your followers won't see it in their twitter feed unless they ALSO follow the person you're replying to.
So basically, if you tweet "@shazzbaa your comic is weird" then people who follow you won't see it, unless they ALSO follow me, because it starts with an "@". If you tweet "I think @shazzbaa's comic is weird #webcomicchat" then all your followers will see it because the @ isn't at the beginning! I would get alerted to it because you mentioned my name with an @, and it would show up in the hashtag list because it has a #.
HOPEFULLY THIS DOESN'T MAKE THINGS MORE CONFUSING xD Feel free to ask if I explained anything weirdly!! ;u;
