Uhhh muting certain topics doesn't seem to work for me?

I've had promotions muted for a couple months or so with no problems, but now I keep seeing promotion threads, even after unmuting and re-muting it again.

I just don't want to see 7 promo topics in a row when I'm looking for discussions

Yeah, that's kinda weird -- because muting the category usually works to get rid of all related topics.

You may be seeing people promoting using the wrong categories...which, not much you can do outside of redirecting them to the promo category. And...they'll either do that, or not.

Yeah, It was working for me before. But the topics tagged as "promotions" still show up for me for some reason.
