I am looking for an artist for my manga.
In terms of art, i am looking for something realistic overall (something like Naoki Urasawa or Boichi would be appreciated, but any realistic style is enough).
I’m currently developing an original manga titled Ekko Aeternum, and I’m looking for a dedicated artist interested in collaborating on a long-term project.
Project Overview:
Ekko Aeternum is a dark fantasy, seinen story centered around a massive, militarized city-state where power is built on trauma. In this world, individuals awaken abilities known as Ekkos, but only after experiencing intense psychological or physical suffering. As a result, people are systematically pushed into violence and emotional breakdowns to become “useful”, turning human lives into tools for war.
The story follows three main characters who become part of a rebel group opposing this system, but what begins as a fight against an oppressive regime gradually evolves into something much larger: a confrontation with the very foundation of their world and the true origin of Ekkos themselves.
Tone and Themes:
-Dark, grounded, and psychological
-Heavy focus on character development and moral dilemmas
-Themes of dehumanization, systemic oppression, trauma, and the cost of breaking cycles -Inspired by works like Attack on Titan, but with a strong emphasis on psychological consequences and ethical ambiguity
I am currently focusing on getting the first chapter illustated (for which i already have a full script), and publishing it on Webtoon or Tapas.
The revenue share will be 70% for the artist and 30% for me (considering the fact that illustrating is much more time consuming than writing)
