Unpaid: Need artist to help with my cover art

Sorry for the unpaid all I could offer would be your name in contribution on the cover (lol). I don't expect much help without paying but here it goes.

I need/want some help with the cover of my new comic (the comic is bad in general)
the style I want is painted, I'm doing a fantasy genre so anything to match the old fantasy/fiction pulp magazines is what I'm aiming for.

The rest of the comic is a cartoony look so by having it a high detailed cover juxtaposing it would be funny (or so that's how I would feel).

I have a mockup of what I want on the cover which I will use if no one helps otherwise It would provide example of what I would want. The cover contains two characters standing on a rocky hill, one dressed as a cliche wizard and the other in armor holding a sword. Background contains basic mountains, that's the essentials of what I need but any ideas or extra is highly welcomed. The more work and unnecessary detail the better.

Deadline: There is none but the sooner the possible, If I cant get confirmation within 4 weeks then best not waste both of our time.

I'm not the best artist perhaps and struggle with drawing people but you can check out some of my stuff and maybe I can help with something??? I'm pretty good at taking one idea and re-drawing it with my own style - you can check out my current comic I'm doing in random times in random styles and plots (as each 'plot' will take 1 - 2 pages)

You can also check out my DA gallery, Patreon page and Facebook page for more, I'll do for 'unpaid' since want to get some practice in but out of ideas... :

Thanks for the offer but I would either want a realistic style (people) or just someone to use my style/ drawing and paint/colour it. I feel that this request would be unfair to you because I would be robbing you of the only enjoyable thing that could come from this, creative freedom. I would/do feel bad that I would let you do this in your own style and I don't end up using it.

But if you don't mind me being nit picky/demanding than well this could work, because this isn't just a tiger : )

As you can see its fairly simple but quite large (that's because of scan size) the minimum I would want is 940px cause Tapastic! but the larger the better. And because of the simplistic background and foreground that's where more creativity is wanted,fitting to the genre.
Besides set colours for the characters I dont mind what goes on as long as its you know makes sense ( no poka dot sky etc) But if you feel that this is a waste of your time,talent and patience then I understand but your painting skills are what I'm wanting.

But if you don't mind me being nit picky/demanding than well this could work, because this isn't just a tiger : )

That's perfectly fine XD I understand; I like things to be perfect as well!

Let me try doing something and if you want to use it you can if not that's also fine cause I want to challenge myself XD
And it looks really cool and if painting all the more better for me cause it just so happens that I've been looking for something to paint like this (mountains castle cloudy skies...) all the elements plus he human element which is what I really want to paint!

You want the image as is in the link above?
What color theme are you looking for?
Do you want it digitally painted...? Oil? Acrylics? Water? Pastel?
(I'm mainly in acrylics only cause oil is a drag to clean, but color for oils are really more vibrant an detailed than with acrylics since acrylics dry to a darker color and oils dry to same color as original color)
