Pokemon has always been pretty boring, Twilight Princess rocked, and FF8 is my favorite of the ones I've played (I haven't played the newer ones because I don't have time for an MMO)
When a game is over 80 hours, I'm not finishing it. Games that are 30 hours long are the sweet spot.
Animal Crossing needs an "I am an adult" option that allows for the shops to be open 24/7 so I can play it at 11 PM because that's the only time I really play video games. And also, I know some people think it's cheating, but Animal Crossing needs to allow for time to be manually changed within the game without having to change the time on your console. It's 2020, Animal Crossing. You're killing, me Animal Crossing, I am an adult and I cannot log into this thing once a day stop penalizing me.
And then, the most unpopular opinion, you gain literally nothing playing retro games without doing save states or modern cheats. Just play the game however you want. If you need to save state--do it. If you need to hack in 1000 lives because the game was made for arcades--do it. The game does not need to be played the way it was intended in 1995
