I nitpick software and websites all the time. It's why I stopped using MSWord a decade ago. The "improvements" to the UI were not improvements for me and made navigation, and locating features I use harder to find. Websites I'm at war with hotmail's constantly changing UI, and don't get me started on facebook's PC UI constantly changing only to keep running through more and more secondary (up to 4x) different URLs just to load the base home wall, and it doesn't save "Most Recent" and stopped showing actual "most recent" and only now shows "relevant" friends that it's algorithm thinks you care about (aka how to p.o. you).
My FAVORITE is when software updates make literal space for ads in their program for you to stare at. It was annoying when AIM did it, it was annoying when MSN did it, and it was just stupid when Skype did it. If Discord does it, Imma just snail and email everyone. Stupid ads.
Wonder how they broke the zoom? Can it not go in as deep like to 600x or just harder to control? Paint.net apparently did an update that's on my mom's computer where to access the most used features that I use, you have to go up and manually change a little icon to the feature - instead of having the 8 little 20pixel big icons already on the screen and now that space where they were is just empty. Oooooooh "improvement". FK that. proceeds to rip gmail a new one while also ripping into hotmail's giant vertical adspace
