On January 1st I'm going to open up Gone Fishing which are extra stories of the Cosmic Fish1 universe.

The concept is to expand on (some) character backstories, mythos/concept, individual adventures, and such while the main plot continues on Cosmic Fish. So the stories (or a "Catch") also work as stand-alone works in an anthology of the universe, and you need no prior knowledge of the other comic to read and enjoy this series.

The idea is that each "catch" will be uploaded irregularly as they are worked on the side, although some will be longer/shorter than others. So now I wonder, would it be better to upload the pages every day from when the event starts until it ends, or spread it out maybe 'one day yay, one day nay' or twice a week as to not overwhelm or spam readers daily?

What can you guys share from your experiences? Thank you in advance!

"Spamming readers with comics" is like what most readers dream of so I'm not clear on your hesitation there. Furthermore if people don't want to see updates then they can just unsubscribe, it is an extra series after all, most people sub to those because they enjoy the content from the author's main series so they want to see as much stuff as they can.

Hrm, that's a good point.

I just tried placing myself in their perspective and usually, I'm doing so many things at once I end up losing track of things that update a lot, I fall behind.

Although this is like...short bursts...so I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to catch up?

Thank you though
