Discussion thread for the creator interview with Veleries, since there isn't an official thread
I haven’t always wanted to make comics as a career. This is due to the circumstances of the industry in my country.
Is making comics very difficult in Indonesia? I feel like I see a lot of Indonesian comics here and on Webtoons. Anyone from Indonesia want to comment?
Anyway, Traceless Knight is a frame narrative, like a story within a story, what led to decision of using that narrative device?
The narrative style reminds me strongly of The Princess Bride
A lot of times, I find myself going back to the works of creators whose books I grew up with. To name just a few, Takahashi Rumiko; Kaoru Mori; Kozue Amano and Kyoko Hikawa.
OMG Takahashi Rumiko and Kaoru Mori!! Who else here has read all of their works??
I think above all, take care of your health. Health is expensive and as a wise friend once said, “you can’t create if you’re dead, so it’s okay to work at your own pace.”
So true.
Also congratulations Tapas, you successfully got me to bookmark and start reading Traceless Knight. I love these personalized interview/discussion/recommendation posts that Tapas does with the creators, keep it up!
