Project Wonderful can be useful, but part of it's luck and part of it's research. Because you're not just charged for clicks, you get charged whether or not anybody clicks on your ad. So you would pay the same amount if you had an ad up all day and no one clicked on it that you would if you had an ad up all day and hundreds of people clicked on it. So you have to be able to watch the ads, see if they're getting responses, and quickly cancel them if they're not. Then try them at different times and see when the best time to advertise on different sites is. Also to find out if your ad will get any clicks on certain sites at all.
