Webcomics sites besides Tapas and Webtoon?

Today i decided to jump around all the latest and new topic in the forum and i found out that Tapas has gone under some changes and premium comics are being more advertised rather than indie/smaller one.
This thing is truly allarming me, because the same thing has happened with all the main social platforms...idk, seems like this is the start of a long bad period for people who's trying to build a readership.

Therefore my question: I really suck with internet searching, so i'm asking the community people is there are some STILL genuine webcomics site where to publish your comic?

It's interesting you got Spottoon listed there. There seems to be one self published comic there and the site lost licenses to several webtoons back a few months.

If you are looking for active and big webcomic sites, as far as I know there are only Tapas and Webtoons

You can also try to advertise your comic in your social medias, paying ads to get more attention and readers

Social medias are having the same problem.
It doesn't matter on which social media you start promoting your work, in the end if you really want readers, you need to pay XD Tapas is good, but the news got me scared...and as far as i know, Webtoon is getting popular too, but they don't have a forum where you can connect with people.

Tapas is still revamping the ap, and staff has said they’re going to better feature community comic (non-premium), so hopefully there are improvements to come! Of course they’re not going to stop promoting their premium stuff, as they need to make enough money to grow and what not. Hopefully we reach a better balance.

That said, I use Smackjeeves in addition to Tapas and Webtoons. Smaller audience, but I’ve met some great people and regular commenters.

There is Smackjeeves, which has a smaller audience, BeComics, which has even a smaller audience, and GlobalComix which has an almost non-existent readership base. Unfortunately, I still need LineWebtoons and Tapastic to reach any sort of audience.

Yeah, I research and blog about spottoon like last year I think? And yes, sadly my favorite webtoon "my beautiful world" was suspended. I wonder why? But I Just research it after I read your comment.

I'm not sure, all I know is Spottoon only got one new webtoon in the last three months. Some of the webtoons apparently when on hiatus like The Sensual M. Tapas has a lot more licensed webtoons (at least 80) than Spottoon and many of them come from China

Well, there's Comic Fury, Smackjeeves and Drunk Duck. Plus, Spiderforest is open for applications right now.

Most others are really small (like Smackjeeves, I didn’t really like it on Smack, never even got a comment there after I had been on for like 3 months, I’m doing a loooot better here)

Or are really exclusive (I think lezhin only does contract deals but I’m not too sure)

But I’m not sure what’s up and coming nowadays. There might be something new out there.
