WebcomicsApp - Why is my comic here?

Well I mean I think about my webcomic for instance and I don't have a whole lot of subscribers or view yet (it's just a little under a year old) so I wonder if it isn't some kind of general webcomic wiki or something? Especially because my webcomic only appears on the wiki section. Still... if that's the case they could do a better job explaining that.

yeah i think its a wiki cause its under my name, it has the webtoons description, webtoons link and yeah...someone just threw it up there

It's just a subcategory on the site itself. It lets you search up different comics though.

That's weird, I always heard about WebcomicsApp, but I thought they were all original comics like on Tapas or Webtoons. But, it seems like it's just a collection of other people's work?

Or is it a mix of both o-O?
To those of you on here who have their work on webcomicsapp without knowing it before....uh, does that mean that website is taking some of your views away >_>.

It's a good and bad thing at the same time. Takes your views but at the same time websites like these help expose your work.

I don't know if I'm missing some info or what, but that whole platform looks so fishy! I've never checked it before, including main site, and nothing makes sense to me: inconsistent everything, from ratings to views etc.. it looks like everything is tampered with, honestly.
As a first look, that is.

from what it seems, well with the tapas version, cause i found out Royal is on there twice, one for the Tapas version and one for the Webtoons version.

its out of date, the old logo is used, it says i only have 96 eps (on tapas) when i have over 110 now

Weird... judging by the website, it has three of the four comic strip series I have ever posted to tapas, and one on Webtoons.

Who, uhh... who found my work and uploaded it without giving a proper link or description of them? I'm very confused at the moment.

If you're talking about the main WebcomicsApp platform, I imagine it has the same kinks and twitches of any beginning site. I've been very happy with our rep, very responsive considering the time zone differences.

And it's getting different eyes on our groups project ...which has got to be the primary goal of hosting on multiple sites.

Yeah, I guess they all do that, but this is unusually visible here. It struck me. But in a way, at least I know what to expect..

I don't think I'll ever get used to all these dishonest methods, although I know that's how everything works, and that they actually HAVE to, to survive against other dishonest competitors etc

From the looks of things, I can't actually read comic pages on this wiki, so it doesn't seem to be stealing anything, it's more of a "Hey, this comic exists!" Unless it's different on the mobile version.

I just checked it myself, and since it seems to pull comics from Webtoons, I have 5 works there but only one of them is listed on the app (and it's the one with least subs I have lol).
If it was automated, I think all 5 should be there right??

Eeeeh... my Webtoon is listed as well for the Webtoons and Tapas Mirror. Seems like it was listed at episode 18 so it's not all up to date, but it looks like they haven't reuploaded it, so...
