I will give the new redesign a liiiiiittle bit of credit. I like having chapter/episode list page. It was a common issue of mine that one super long comics, scrolling along that tiny little side bar was a pain in the ass and this is much. HOWEVER it would have been much better placed it there was an option to click to it in the sidebar rather than having to always click to it. Having a separate dashboard button is nice. It's nice to see free to read section right next to the premiums on things like trending on the home page.
Other than that, I was really confused. It doesn't feel like Tapas anymore. It's harsh and white and bright and sanitized. Where's the fun gone? And the actual comic reading? Where's my banner gone? Why is my thumbnail tiny now? Why can't I just scroll or click jump to top? Why do I have to click a secondary button to get the summary of my comic, omg??? That is possibly the dumbest change, Tapas. I click on a comic and I'm presented with a title, a thumbnail and a list of episodes rather than, i don't know, something useful like the summary??? Really??? What on earth were you thinking??? That's the basics! The summary is supposed to hook readers and you're hiding it???
