I am looking to hire a webtoon digital artist (with skills in Clip Paint Studio preferably).
I need the person to work on 12 pages (about 32 panels, some of them are cut pastes for effects) of the 1st Chapter of my new webtoon. I have rough sketches done for important characters as well as important panels of the chapter. I have detailed cues panel by panel (including details of the placement of objects, nature, characters, action, speech bubbles.. etc in each pane).
Expectations:
Clip Paint Studio preferred.
Familiarity with Medieval Action Fantasy
Art work similar to the likes of unOrdinary, unholy blood.
Preferably Two Month deadline. ( I have done some prep work in Clip Paint).
Prospects:
I am working on art direction/script for 30 something chapters (panel by panel). The webtoon idea is a 20-year imagination of mine (parts of which I have written as unpublished scripts, shorthand cues, and book chapters). Based on the satisfaction of the 1st Chapter, there is a definite prospect for a long-term partnership.
I am at the mouth of publishing, with clear ideas as to the direction of my story. It's a serious project. I would prefer an artist who has long-term plans to be involved with the mentality of seeing it to the finish.
Pay:
I will send you a sample Clip Paint File (Small Panel from the Chapter). I would like to see you color it and return by email. Once our art styles match, I will share the detailed cues of the 1st chapter.You can estimate the time and effort needed based on the cues and fill in the quote for your work. If your remuneration estimate matches my budget, we have a deal. Also, at this stage, I would prefer paying a fixed rate for the work rather than by the hour. (You can evaluate the hours you will need and quote them as a fixed sum, in USD preferably).
