Well i am sorry i had a terrible experience there, well, it wasn't too bad but clearly the engagement and numbers are faked, but what really got me irked out from that platform, is the semi official discord i have been invited to at the time, my webcomics quickly grew in a matter of 2 to 3 months and reached 100K views and almost 2000 subs, but i started to feel like it wasn't right, and my doubts were even relayed here, people accusing me of botting (wich is pretty funny, the platform does it alone, without any help of anyone) After i got invited in that discord i was only witnessing conversations about how western comics were terrible, seeing people praising some comics, organizing raids on people they like, and raids on people they dislike, when i stated i was actually european / belgian, they begun to raid my comics with downvotes, accusations, and nasty comments. even going as far as to attack my viewers and their comments too.
Yeah, i know it's controversial and might not fit well with the idealistic vision people have of line webtoon but it's how it went.
Line is not impartial, bot some people views, does not to some others, they have favoritism going on on their discord servers and secret rooms where they decide the fate of certain people they like and don't like.
And if it have to make me a black sheep, so be it. I know it because i was invited into that discord, special channel, and i witnessed it.
So of course it was performing well, but at the cost of feeling like shit. And i just can't, i already have enough depression and anxiety issues like this.
