I have read it. In hindsight, I think it’s a unique and original premise. My only concern is that it is a bit too… how shall I put this… complicated for the average person to understand. I mean, don’t misunderstand me, I’m all FOR complicated premises, but you HAVE to decide whether or not the story is set in a unique fantasy world of your own creation or the real world. You specified in your blurb that your protagonist is sent to the Victorian era… which country in the Victorian era? If it is indeed Britain as I am assuming it is, then I think you should remove the word “geez” from the characters’ dialogue as it is American slang, NOT British slang.
