Hello, I'm Iriascent! Thank you for clicking on this post!

I'm a writer who wants to try my hand at a Webtoon, but unfortunately, my artistic ability is rather limited. I would be super pleased if an artist did a partnership with me!

Okay, so I've had a story in the works now for a while that unfortunately works better as a Webtoon than a novel. (good ideas for shots, dialogue that works better when seeing character's faces, etc) I'm fine with constructive criticism, or if you want to change certain parts of the comic to your liking. It's going to be your comic too, after all!

It's an enemies-to-lovers romance that takes place between two rival dance captains who hate each other's guts- Jisoo Ahn is fiery and stubborn, and the other girl, Nari Oh, is known as an ice queen. However, they have to work together to compete in an international dance competition!

No rush - if you don't feel comfortable doing long-term or don't feel like you're productive enough, that's perfectly fine! Just please notify me before you decide to leave the project (if you take it on, that is)!

And if you feel busy or stressed out, just contact me, and I'll sketch what the panels will look like as well, so that you can have more time!

I'm afraid that I cannot pay you right now, but if you feel like you require money, PM me and we'll see if we can work something out. If/when we start to earn money, I am more than happy to split our profits.

Hello! I'm a script writer and novelist and am looking for an artist to collaborate with. I'd like it to be a long-term project that has the potential to earn money in the future, and we can discuss the details of how we would go about it. I can not pay you currently, but if we make it off of Discover, we can split the profits.
I have a planned out Webtoon, with an arc that will most likely last past 100 chapters. So whoever's doing this needs to be in it for the long haul. It is a romance, with two girls from rival dance teams becoming lovers after they are forced to represent Korea in an international dance competition.
I am not too concerned with productivity as long as the artist has a good work ethic and turns in their art on time. I already have the main arc planned out, and I can write the script and format the panels as well. Please share a sample of your art below.

How to make a good collaboration or partnership offer - GUIDE

I'm just gonna be the one to say it, 100 chapters is a lot to ask for from a stranger on the internet. I would recommend choosing a smaller project to start on first. Or if you have done other collaborations, show your work here just to let potential partners know. Collaboration is a contentious thread on this forum. Just make sure you're looking to collab and not for an employee.

Your post is very demanding for someone who isn't paying. No one will take on a job when you sound like their boss when you arent paying them.
i'm not trying to be rude but you need to understand a lot of us here have seen this kind of thread over and over and i didn't want to say anything at all but after i got done reading i'm not gonna lie, it came off irritating. so please, read the collaboration thread before demanding for an arm and a leg. and try to sound a bit more like someone who is looking for a partner instead of a slave worker. you cant ask to see other peoples private art if you dont even have the decency to share yours.

That right there sounds like a demand even though you may not realize it. I'm sure most people here work full time or at least have school and I'm sure mounting pressure on anyone will make them drop the project real quick talk less of when they aren't getting paid.

I will not go into rewording your paragraph to make you understand how demanding it is. its pointless. @IndigoShirtProd has attached a forum post that shows you exactly how a collab should be. I suggest you take a look at it. i'm sure that will help far much better than me explaining in detail. check it out.

Link to your existing work! Especially if some of it has been published with Tapas. Always remember you're a random stranger, the only way collaborators can see you as a fellow creator is if you show some of what you've created. It also shows your skill level and helps artists asses if they're a good match.
