Webtoons flagging previously approved content?

I never thought I'd see the day where anything I do would be hardcore enough to be censored, and yet here we are. I feel like I'm one of the bad dogs now lol XD"

So yesterday I got an email from Webtoons that one of my episodes was removed cuz it violated the ad sharing guidelines (even though I could've sworn I was approved for ad sharing when this specific episode was up, but whatever)

I am on mobile now so I can't link it, but on Tapas it's Episode 6 - [ Monster Within ]

I get it. Perhaps the eye trauma was more gruesome than I thought so it's fine lol. I censored it and removed the last panel zoom-in entirely. Still waiting for their reply (we just email them for review on the proper email mentioned, right?)

This is all fine tbh, I'm actually surprised I'm not that upset about it XP
But my question now is... is Webtoons going through some kind of spring cleaning again? This is an old episode, I haven't updated in months, and I've caught few more Webtoons getting reported as well around the same time I got my email.

Do you think they change their mind on what is acceptable and what isn't? did anyone else get reported lately?

Wish they'd let us just properly tag individual uploads as Mature, so the system wouldn't put ads there, instead of the entire series, man...

Webtoon is never reliable with their content filters. I have posted full frontal nudity and had no problem, while some people get flagged and filtered for half-nudity.
I've seen pornographic comics on webtoon that are not only allowed but featured, while some things are flagged for being even slightly suggestive.
It's a massive flaw in the system.

Can you give an example (name a comic) like that? (with nudity or something) I really want to see what they allow exactly

i'm really curious to see some of the examples you mentioned?
The one i know that breaks all kind of rules is Darbi (which i love btw, lol)

excessive violence, language, explicit sexual behavior and bodily fluids of all kind. ALL. KIND.
Granted, the entire series is tagged mature, but they're still getting paid regardless, and S3 is in the work rn.

I wonder, is it because the subject matter is dinosaurs/nonhuman that it's getting a pass...?
it's all subjective but... i feel my "supernatural eye-trauma" is so tame compared to everything Darbi has to offer lolll

LOL!!! I received an email today. RIP to all our comics on webtoons.

The episodes removed were a bunch of shirtless panels!!! OMFG This is ridiculous.

No, my point is the criteria says "no excessive or suggestive content" but it's enforced completely inconsistently.
I mean, people get in trouble for dudes with shirts off! That's innocent stuff.

It's very noticeable! Just clicking around the site tells you the rules aren't necessarily always enforced so hard.

It's genuinely a 50/50 thing. You can post stuff that's outright horny and you might get in trouble or you might not. You can post gore and you might get in trouble or you might not.
I say post it, and see how it goes. The typical rule of thumb is "is the matureness the entire point? is it all shock value?"
But again, as I've shown here you can get in trouble for shirtless dudes if the moderators feel like it. The people enforcing these rules all do it very differently.
