Webtoons image quality

Alright, so I've noticed that the quality of my comics comes up differently than on here. I don't know if it's just me but it looks slightly blurry. I've tried playing around with the sizing of my comic pages but found that I can't make them any bigger than they already are---if I try it goes beyond the required limit.

I was wondering if anyone else who posts on Webtoons has ever run into this problem.

You need to edit your image then. I had to crop mine to the recommended size and I made two separate images instead on just one, to get it to look good. My comic on Webtoon is 800 x 1280 while my Tapas one is 740 x 2085.

I tried editing the size but it never changes. Mine is normally 729x1032.

Your size needs to be precisely 800px wide or it will upsize it.

Webtoons compresses the comics which is why it's so low-res. I'd say the way to combat this is to either make everything bigger (as in adapt your comic for the vertical scroll so each panel is on its own rather than laid out like a printed page) or just use a thicker font so the text is easier to read. Image compression happens to all Webtoon discover comics so don't worry about it too much, the readers are used to it.

Just put extra border on the edges, that's what I do. Well I also complain about the fact that a commercial website up-scaling images is something you should see in 1997, not 2017.
