"I’ve read a wide range of light novels and manga, both well-known and lesser-known titles, and one thing always stood out to me: each story excelled in one area while neglecting others. Some had incredible worldbuilding but flat characters. Others shined in action but stumbled in pacing or depth. While I enjoyed them, many eventually lost their spark because of those imbalances.
That realization shaped my biggest influence—not a single work or author, but the patterns I noticed across the stories I consumed. I thought to myself, I know what I love in these stories, and I can see what they often leave behind. Why not try to create something that addresses those gaps?
So I set out to write a story that carries forward the strengths I admired while weaving in the elements I felt were missing. After spending countless hours, plenty of free time, and more braincells than I’d like to admit, this book became the result of that effort."
